CREEKSIDE FARM
Our Crops, Flocks, Bees, Birds, Ponds and Trees all work together in our efforts to apply the sound practices found of Permaculture.
Permaculture is an approach to land management and settlement design that adopts arrangements observed in flourishing natural ecosystems. It includes a set of design principles derived using whole-systems thinking. It applies these principles in fields such as regenerative agriculture, town planning, rewilding, and community resilience. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permaculture)

Our marriage made in heaven began back in the early '90's in the Central Valley of California where hot summers and year-round farming are the norm. Michael and Young were affiliated with several faith-based, organic farms near Bakersfield as volunteer farm hands.
Using concepts, practices and the science of the innovative "Jadam" method of Korean organic farming, we employ microbial inputs, natural fertilizers and our farm animals to provide natural, low cost inputs for the living soil.
Our self-sufficient farm uses only natural pesticides, when required, all made from wild and cultivated herbs.
